NABUCCO

"On 9 March 1842 made his debut as opera Nabucco patriotic aimed unity and identity of Italy. Today, March 12, 2011, I would not want that Nabucco was the dirge of the culture and music. I am very saddened by what is happening, I do not only for patriotic reasons but we really risk that our country will be 'beautiful and lost', says Green. THE INCREDIBLE STORY OF THE CASTLE OF BALINCOURT (northern France)

He really incredible history of the castle of Balincourt in the village of Arronville, north of France.

At first it belonged to Blanche Delacroix, a lover and then wife morganatic (ie without the right to inheritance or title) of King Leopold II of Belgium . It had become the lover only 16 years old, and he was more than 50 more than her. Leopold II gift 'the castle to his mistress and then, Leopold died, the manor was bought ato world's richest man, Sir Basil Zaharoff , born in Istanbul on the Jewish poor. He sold the submarines of all nations at war. Zaharoff gave it to his mistress Maria del Pilar , English noblewoman, wife of Francesco de Bourbon, a cousin of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. Francis has long showed signs of mental imbalance and Maria del Pilar could not divorce because the crown would never have allowed. The relationship with Zaharoff lasted throughout the life ebb and and Monte Carlo as a backdrop.

Maria del Pilar commissioned 'the castle grounds to Raffaele Mainella, who was born in Benevento in 1856 and died in 1941 at the Venice Lido. For ten long years, the artist departed from Venice in the summer and went in working at the castle. In 1924, Maria del Pilar's husband dies, and so, after 34 years of clandestine love affair, she wed with Basil Zaharoff. After just eighteen months of marriage she died of septicemia. Zaharoff Mainella then asked to complete the layout of the park according to the wishes of his wife, even if man does not make you more Chorus Convection in the years to come. Today his body rests in this park, close to that of his wife. On this castle and the work performed by Mainella was never published anything. Mainella When completed it was seventy years old. He died April 27, 1941, at age 85.

Adalberto Abbate
Back in 12/03/2011 / 03/26/2011

In an article two years ago, said Pierluigi Sacco that one of the most enigmatic of Italian art scene in recent years was his relative inability to deal with a powerful political issues, despite the abundance of ideas. The reason for this failure, he said, is that our artists, victims or accomplices of a corrupt system, "does not believe in the possibility of a change project that makes sense or is a real prospect." Back in Training (2011) reminds those comments, not so much for the questions (certainly political) that addresses, but because it is testimony to the chronic state of immobility for which each of us prefer to take refuge in their inner world rather than run into the complex issues collective. Physiological development of the recent uprising (2010), this new project is intended to cynically sleepy consciences, starting from the examination of a newspaper more disheartening. The guide post-conflict Adalberto Abbate is filled with memories and reminders; brings disappointments, setbacks and losses tones, however, adjusting to a reflection (on the history and art) to an increasingly dry and language even more shrewd and subtle. Silent and suspended, the subjects of the photos, such as sculptures and installations of this project, an animated scenario padding, crossed and abandoned, are survivors of a past that can no longer accommodate, witnesses of a landscape to be rebuilt.

Conosciuto come una delle voci più interessanti Italian phenomenon of street art, Danielle Nicolosi, aka BROS forward from March 10, 2011 his new project planned for the space of a tunnel and the surrounding streets, in a sort of dialogue between inside and outside the city.
From March 15 to April 30, 2011, the Officine Image of Milan (Via Vannucci 13) will host the exhibition SQUARAUS - Color from the body, which will come n

ecessario prologue performance, scheduled for Thursday, March 10 , from 19.30 to 21.00. Centre project, which kicks off the path, is the performative moment, forty-character type of openings in Milan, each with a costume and accessories that mark the character which must be (by the photographer that the body, from the collector to the simple visitor to the gallery by the artist, ....), a parade of people who will occupy a street Vannucci misinterpreted by waving flags, a festive parade on Shrove Tuesday which will make Carnival Ambrosiano. Squaraus - as pointed out by the curator Alberto Mattia Martini - "intends to investigate the vernissage of an exhibition, the time at which the artist's works are revealed and recognized the freedom of expression, but that usually also assumes the guise of a social event and "drawing-room, where often the users rather than focusing on art, but to feel integral part of the event, "read" a role that does not belong. "
Bros will play in its own way this time, outlining the figures of 40 characters who attend the inauguration, realizing, thanks to fabric, wood, PVC, forex, plexiglass, clothes, accessories and items that will be worn by many people who recite the performance . For this occasion, Bros uses the precious photographic intervention of Cosimo Filippini, who has chosen to make the pictures in the studio, taking an objective style. Through the lack of research in favor of a formal representation to present the subject without filters, he intends to enhance the work Bros, customs and characteristics of the character portrait. The works will then of diptychs in which each work is accompanied by a photograph Bros Cosimo Filippini, just to underscore the fact that the works submitted are not just clothes and accessories used in making the costumes, but the same characters Bros, which purports to represent. The show will end with a video shot during the performance.

Do I Have To Be A Member To Shop At Sam's Club

WHEN SCHOOL IS DREAM AND 'GOOD EXAMPLE

Nella mia classe durante le lezioni physics, although the program and the few hours available, our teacher taught us to cast an eye on the lives and talents of women scientists who, overcoming stereotypes, prejudices and economic difficulties have contributed and are contributing, with their passion , their sensitivity and their commitment to the development of progress.
The scenario is always the same: a mobile station with a computer and a projector with which, on a white wall, is transmitted pictures, experiences, memories and testimonies of women who, well digging, were many: from the Nobel Medicine Barbara McClintock (1983) for the discovery of transposons and Rita Levi-Montalcini (1986) for growth factor nerve cells (NGF) in the case of Lise Meitner that - unlike in 1944, Otto Hahn received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry - although it was not awarded for first, provided the theoretical explanation of nuclear fission, to the even more emblematic of Rosalind Franklin, whose discoveries about DNA were overshadowed by the most famous James Watson and Francis Crick, both Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1962.
The aim is to highlight and understand the excellence of their work in getting young people to compete in science, as opposed to the power of beauty and popularity of media.
is also thanks to them, in other words, if today we can see farther. So yes we can say, with Bernard of Chartres, who are dwarfs on the shoulders of giants!
Trematore HIGH SCHOOL DANIEL V. Gioberti, Torino

What a lovely few lines in this letter that gets rid of a series of cliches: 1) that now reigns in schools and the lack of interest that teachers are exhausted and without any spark of idealism, and 2) that today's students are apathetic and disinterested in all and every effort is useless to them, and 3) that if a field has a few hours then it is impossible to imagine an effective program is also capable of going beyond the planned schedule, 4) that the marriage between the women and science is something unnatural; 5) that young people are not grateful towards those who taught him something and is able to make them dream.

After Gucci, Bulgari also has an emphasis on i. They bought the French, despite the most famous Italian jewelry in the world has tried to the last to merge with some other brand made in Italy for "teamwork." In vain, because the majority of our entrepreneurs cultivate a vision of archaic and mean business. It prefers to reign in their backyard who share control of a forest. On Sunday newspaper denounced our inadequacy Mario Calabresi - practice, but more mental - in accepting the mass tourism of China. Instead bathrobe between Bourbon and Garibaldi, the forthcoming national holiday should be used to discuss something that seems far less interest to us: the future. Italy to ask what we want to be. And most importantly, if we want to Italy that foreigners imagine that we are.

The situation verges on the absurd. The world yearns for the Italian style and it portrays itself as the cradle of the refined pleasures: sun, scenery, history, food, wine, art, fashion, relax. But we, in addition to live badly and brutalized in front of the TV or behind some flashy bunga bunga, we are in the jaws of a ruling class and arruffona grabbers, unable to get an idea of \u200b\u200bItaly and to design a project for the next twenty ' years to respond to market demands, that of young Asians and the increasing number of elderly in the West interested in our talent: manufacturing quality of life. ITALY BOLOGNA REFORM REFERENDUM TO REPEAL GELMINI

The idea came from the University of Bologna. A short birth to a committee composed of teachers, students and temporary workers. We need 500,000 signatures. Many, many, but the protests against the approval of the Reformation, last fall, saw the participation of hundreds of thousands of people. The company is far from impossible
The idea is simple, but potentially strong impact: a referendum to repeal the entire Reform Gelmini .
Il quesito - ha continuato Matteuzzi - sarà molto semplice e chiederà l’abrogazione of the whole law. " Soon will be born and then a committee made up of teachers, students and temporary workers , which will consist of three names from the world of culture, three tutelary deities, whose names will be made public in the coming weeks. The collection of signatures will begin in April, when a conference will converge in Bologna representatives of 30 universities from all over Italy. We need 500,000 signatures . Many , many, but the protests against the approval of the Reformation, last fall, saw the participation of hundreds of thousands of persone.

RENDEZ-VOUS BY MIRKO Baricco _Talk 17:45 H + site specific

Beautiful and intelligent initiative!
There is a saying in the world stock market / financial that can be used very often in the art world that reads something like this: buy, sell and repent ... Well, I write that? Well I admit and confess that I had a painting by Mirko Baricchi and at the insistence of a collector I sold it to him ... you do not commit the same mistake!

Galleria Bianconi presented Thursday, March 10, at 17:45, RENDEZ-VOUS BY MIRKO Baricco: the artist, by Renata and Massimo Bianconi Biava, meet the public, to speak about and present site-specific installation and a series of new works, on show until 20.03. 2011
