appointment, Renata Bianconi said:" We are delighted to open our space to collaboration with the Gallery Cardelli & Fontana and to make a "living art", in which the public can meet an artist known as Mirko Baricchi, and know in advance a set of his new works, including an installation conceived for the gallery. " Mirko Baricchi born in La Spezia on April 12, 1970. After high school he moved to Florence, where he attended the Institute for Art and Restoration Palazzo Spinelli. After graduation and a brief stint as a commercial artist, he left for Mexico, a journey that marked his life as an artist. Here he worked as an illustrator for a famous American communications agency, but does not abandon his passion for painting. In one of his many visits to the Museums is struck Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo. He leaves his job at the agency as an illustrator and soon after participating in a group exhibition at the Museum Siqueros, receiving positive feedback from critics. After more than two years back in Italy and moved to Milan, where he uses his skills as a draftsman in the advertising and publishing. During this time he decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. In 1998 he returned to live in La Spezia.
